With so many environmental regulations in place, compliance can often be seen as a box-ticking exercise – a necessary burden rather than an opportunity to improve. At Lambson Innovate, however, we view compliance through an entirely different lens. For us, meeting statutory requirements is merely the starting point on our journey towards creating a better, more sustainable business model that benefits our employees, our customers, our communities, and the planet.
Lambson Innovate has fostered a culture where exceeding sustainability standards is expected, rather than merely encouraged. Today, we’re taking a closer look at how our team go beyond compliance in every aspect of our operations, setting new benchmarks for the industry rather than simply following them.
Environmental Stewardship
Environmental responsibility at Lambson Innovate extends far beyond what’s legally required. Our comprehensive approach to resource efficiency has transformed our operations, particularly with regards to waste. Rather than viewing waste as a problem to be managed, we’ve reimagined it as a valuable resource.
Byproducts and waste that cannot be reused, repurposed, or recycled in production is not sent to landfill.
These materials are either reused, repurposed, or converted into fuel to heat our factory. This circular economy approach significantly reduces our carbon footprint.
Regulatory Compliance
Our team view environmental requirements as baseline standards – not ultimate goals. While we rigorously adhere to all relevant environmental legislation, our commitment doesn’t end there. We consistently seek to exceed regulatory requirements. For this reason, we increasingly meet many environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards that we’re not legally required to meet.
Lambson Innovate is fully committed to the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requirements and is already working towards the 2025 deadline. This forward-thinking approach ensures our timber products are not only legally and sustainably sourced, but also fully traceable from forest to factory.
Similarly, our due diligence systems for EU Timber Regulation (EUTR) compliance go beyond the minimal requirements. Comprehensive monitoring throughout our supply chain ensures illegally harvested timber is prevented from entering the EU market.
Sustainable Practices
From sustainable sourcing to environmentally conscious production methods, every decision Lambson Innovate makes is evaluated through the lens of long-term environmental impact.
Our made-to-order production model exemplifies this approach.
By manufacturing components to exact quantities and specifications, we eliminate waste products and surplus stock that would otherwise consume resources unnecessarily. This approach delivers both environmental and economic benefits for our clients. They need only order what they need, and nothing gets wasted. Good for the client, and good for the planet.
Our Certifications
Lambson Innovate’s commitment to exceeding standards is validated through compliance with numerous rigorous international standards, including:
ISO 9000 and ISO 9001 for quality management
ISO 14001 for environmental management
EU Timber Regulation (EUTR)
By consistently exceeding regulatory requirements and industry norms, we’re demonstrating that business success and responsible practices aren’t mutually exclusive, but mutually reinforcing.
Through innovation, ethical practices, and environmental responsibility, we’re creating a sustainable competitive advantage while contributing to a better world.
